About Beth Ann Townsend:
Beth Ann Townsend was born on December 20, 1963 in Shenandoah, Iowa. Beth moved with her family to Clay Center, Nebraska in 1968 where she grew up and graduated from high school. She graduated a semester early from the University of Nebraska-Kearney (formerly Kearney State College) in December 1985 with a B.S. degree with honors in business administration. She attended law school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Law and earned a J. D. in May 1989. Beth was admitted to practice law in the state of Nebraska in 1989. After law school, she was commissioned in the United States Air Force and was designated as a Judge Advocate General. As a J.A.G., Beth was stationed throughout the United States as well as serving overseas tours in Korea and England. She spent the majority of her 11-year career serving as a prosecutor and defense counsel in hundreds of judicial proceedings, including trials by court-martial and Article 32 hearings (grand jury equivalent). Beth left active duty in February 2001 and was admitted to practice in the state of Iowa during the same time. She worked as an associate at Grefe & Sidney in Des Moines before starting Fiedler, Townsend & Newkirk, where she worked from August 2001 until October 2005. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Nebraska State Bar Association, the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, and Polk County Women Attorneys. Beth is a member of the United States Air Force Reserves.

About Shelly Evans:
Shelly Evans was born on March 18, 1963, in Storm Lake, Iowa, where she grew up and graduated from high school. Shelly moved to Des Moines in 1981 and has been working in the legal field since 1982. She worked as an office manager and legal assistant at Parrish Law Firm for 19 years. She then assisted in the organization of Fiedler & Townsend where she worked for 4 years as an office manager and legal assistant. She then assisted in the organization of Townsend Law Office where she has been employed since January 2006. She obtained an Associate in Arts Degree and an Associate in Science Degree from Des Moines Area Community College in 1997. Shelly lives in West Des Moines with her family. She enjoys scrapbooking, the outdoors, reading and spending time with her husband, Brian, and their dog, Charlie.
